Greg Paulus chooses Syracuse over Nebraska

Paulus says he is excited to continue his academic and athletic career by playing quarterback on Syracuse University.  Paulus, who is from New York and felt going back home.
Paulus was a point guard at Duke for four years, and decided that he wanted to give football a chance really after his basketball playing days were over.  He said once he got a couple of interested phone calls, he started getting the itch to throw the football again, but never really gave much thought to football while playing at Duke. 
A quarterback in high school,  Paulus threw for 11,763 yards and 152 touchdowns, and was named Gatorade National High School Football Player of the Year after his senior season.
Paulus said he had a great visit at Nebraska and talked about the tradition and the time he spent with Head Coach Bo Pelini and offensive coordinator Shawn Watson was great, but he just felt in his heart that Syracuse was the place to be for him.
