Huskers swept by Mizzou

After being eliminated from Big 12 tournament consideration, the Huskers were swept on Sunday by Missouri 12-9 making it the 10th straight Big 12 loss at home.
Tyler Farst tied his career high with four hits, but it wasn’t enough as head coach Mike Anderson started five true freshment. .
Farst picked up his second four-hit day of the year, going 4-for-5, while DJ Belfonte drove in a season-best three runs, as the Huskers out-hit Missouri, 15-10, but were hurt by a trio of errors which led to four unearned runs.
The Huskers (21-26-1, 5-19 Big 12) made it interesting in the ninth, scoring three times and getting the tying run to the plate to fall just short.
No games this week as the Huskers take a break for finals, but they resume next weekend with Cal-State Baksersfield. If the Huskers lose two of their remaining games, they will end with a sub .500 record for just the second time in 20 seasons.
