The Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference softball tournament heads into the final day today with host Bellevue playing Peru State for the opportunity to advance to the championship game.
The teams play Friday at 11am with the winner advancing to take on Park University in the championship game at 1:30.
Bellevue opened with Peru and won 12-0 in six innings. Peru then beat St. Mary 16-0 to stay alive. In the final game of the day, Bellevue lost to Park 5-2. Park advanced to the championship game going 2-0 in prelim play.
Bellevue and Peru are 1-1.
