Logan Ehlers pitched a no-hitter over Crete on Tuesday stirking out 21 of 22 batters. One of his strike outs was a dropped third strike and Crete managed a popup to second base. Ehlers is now 7-0 with four no-hitters this year.
According to the Lincoln Journal Star, former NU quarterback Patrick Witt is headed to the Ivy League and Yale. The 4.0 student figured to be the starting Husker quarterback this season.
Nebraska Kearney’s golfers Sara Wissing and Justin Onken and Wayne State’s Kelsee Katsampes and Adam Fields have been selected to play in the NCAA Central Regionals May 4th through the 6th.
