Three Huskers get selected in the draft

Three Nebraska Cornhuskers were picked yesterday in the NFL’s second day of the 2009 draft. Linebacker Cody Glenn was drafted in the 5th round at 158 by the Washington Redskins.
A pair of offensive lineman went later with Matt Slauson, the  6’5 326 pound guard going in the 6th round at 193 to the Jets. Could he be blocking for USA QB Mark Sanchez somday?
In the 7th round, the 228th pick 6’7 306 pound tackle Lydon Murtha was taken by Detroit who grabbed Georgia QB Matthew Stafford with the 1st pick.
NU ranked 5th in in the Big 12 with three NFL picks behind Texas and Tech with four, Oklahoma with five and Missouri with six.
