Bellevue sweeps DH without head coach

Bellevue baseball got back-to-back complete game victories from their pitching staff to extend their win streak to seven games.
The Bruins, ranked 15th in NAIA, pounded out 16 hits in the double-header to win 11-0 in five and 5-1. Bellevue has a season mark of 28-9 and stays atop the MCAC standings with a 15-3 record. Central Christian College falls to 9-32 overall and winless in the MCAC at 0-14.
Head coach Mike Evans was suspended two games for being ejected and arguing calls in an April 11th game against Park and did not managed yesterday’s double-header.
Bellevue will wrap up their four-game series on Friday afternoon against Central Christian College at Westgate Field-Esping Family Field. The double-header will get underway at 1 p.m.
