Creighton shuts out Husker softball

Junior Sara Loeffelholz went 2-for-3 with two RBI and pitcher Tar Oltman moved her record to 4-0 against Nebraska as the Bluejays beat Nebraska 2-0 in Lincoln Wednesday night.
The win was CU’s fourth straight at NU’s Bowlin Stadium, fourth straight in the in-state series and the Jays’ sixth straight overall, moving their record to 18-8 on the year, while dropping the Huskers to 25-8.
Oltman scattered five singles in the complete game.  She is now 15-5 on the year, tossing seven innings, walking one and striking out seven.  The right-hander has won her last nine decisions and now stands alone in CU history with 72 career victories.
Nebraska starter Molly Hill (15-5) took the loss, despite equalling her season-high with 10 strikeouts.
