Lincoln East has a new volleyball coach

Mike Wiese has been promoted from assistant to head volleyball coach at Lincoln East.  Wiese takes over for Myron Oehlerking who retired after 37 years of coaching volleyball at Lincoln East. 
Oehlerking started the Spartan volleyball back in 1972.   Wiese has been part of Spartan volleyball since 2002, first as a freshman coach, and most recently helping with the varsity level. 
Wiese also has coached at Southeast Community College in Beatrice, Neb., and at Peru State College, where he played on the men’s volleyball team.
