Creighton holds off North Dakota

Robbie Knight went 4-5, as the Creighton baseball team defeated North Dakota 13-6, in the first of the two games series. 
Knight started in the first inning with a leadoff double to right center. Elliot Soto brought him in on a single.  The Bluejays added on two more in the second thanks to a Knight single.
The Jays were up 5-0 in the third inning and were up 7-2 when the Fighting Sioux battled back to cut the lead to 7-4.  Creighton put the game out of reach when Darin Ruf hit his fourth homer of the year and the Jays went into the ninth up 13-4. 
Creighton’s game tomorrow has been moved from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the CU Sports Complex. The team will take on North Dakota.
