Death sentence hearing set in rape/murder of Clemson student

Sentencing for a Tennessee man who confessed to raping and strangling a Clemson University student is set to resume next month. Prosecutors said Tuesday the hearing to determine if Jerry Buck Inman gets a death sentence will start again April 20th.
Inman pleaded guilty last year to raping and killing 20-year-old Tiffany Souers in her apartment in 2006. In September, a judge postponed the hearing after a defense expert refused to testify. Sentencing was delayed again in January of 2009 because Inman’s attorney needed surgery.
