State launches tip-line for teens and booze

The Nebraska Office of Highway Safety is launching a new toll-free hotline that aims to help prevent underage drinking and alcohol-related crashes involving drivers under 21.
Using the new tip line, anyone can anonymously report incidents of minors trying to purchase, possess or consume alcohol. The hotline will be available 24-7 to report underage drinking or any person or business illegally providing or selling alcohol to a minor.
Studies find alcohol is a contributing factor in nearly one-third of all fatal crashes involving drivers between 15 to 20. To reach the tollfree hotline, call 866 MUST-B 21.
