Kropp wins 400th at UN-Kearney

Junior forward Drake Beranek recorded his sixth double-double of the year (27 points, 12 rebounds) to help Nebraska-Kearney beat Colorado School of Mines, 78-66, in the season finale Saturday night.
The Lopers won five of its final eight games to give co-head coach Tom Kropp his 400th career win.   In 19 seasons as a head coach, the Loper legend is now 400-163.  Kropp was co-head coach with Jerry Heuser from 1990-96 and then led program for nine years. Since the 2005-06 season, he has served as co-head coach along with Kevin Lofton.
