Housing, Transportation, and education would accompany cash for those wrongfully convicted of crimes in the state of Nebraska. Senator Kent Rogert’s bill would set a minimum payback of 50-thousand dollars per year incarcerated. Joseph White testified in front of the judiciary committee and was wrongfully convicted of the 1985 murder of Helen Wilson of Beatrice. Five others were wrongfully convicted in that case.
