Lopers sweep at Chadron State

In a battle of in-state Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams, the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers swept the Chadron State Eagles in both the women’s and men’s games Tuesday night.
In the women’s game, Chadron State was down 15 then went up by one, eight minutes into the second half, but the Lady Lopers pull away late to win 78-73.  Lopers’ Jade Meads had 25 points. 
In the men’s game redshirt freshmen Max Froehlich clutch at the free throw line making 7 of 8 in the final minute.  Lopers hold off Chadron 70-68.  Froehlich had 21 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists.
