Senior Jonni Mildenberger became the 20th player in Nebraska-Kearney women’s basketball history to reach 1,000 career points.  It happened during the Lopers win over Colorado-Colorado Springs, 73-54, Friday night in Colorado.
Mildenberger (Sterling, Colo.) had a double double (14 points, 11 rebounds) in the second half alone and finished with 22 points and a career-best 16 rebounds.  Mildenberger had a then-career-high 15 boards last Saturday vs. Colorado Christian and has now grabbed at least seven rebounds in 11 straight games.
