Midwest economy still hurting

Creighton University Economist Ernie Goss says the economy is still shrinking in the midwest region.  In his latest survey of Supply Managers and Business Leaders, Goss says January’s consumer confidence is up slightly from December’s ratings, but the rate is well below the level of an expanding economy.  Goss also says the hiring index has dropped to a record low and he expects that trent to continue.
