Huskers open up Big 12 wrestling schedule with win

Junior Craig Brester won a 6-4 decision over Max Askren in the final match of the night, and NU got a big bonus point victory from sophomore Matt Vacanti to give No. 4 Nebraska a come-from-behind 16-15 victory over No. 6 Missouri on Saturday.
NU moves to 13-2-1 on the season, while MU dropped to 15-3.
Brester, ranked #2 in the nation at 197 pounds, came back after being down 4-3 to beat #4 Max Askren, with a reversal with 49 seconds left. Brester moved to 24-1 on the season, including a team-leading 15-1 in duals.
Nebraska returns home for a 7 p.m. dual with No. 15 Oklahoma State.
