Bellevue baseball picked first

Bellevue University has been tabbed as the top team in the 2009 MCAC Baseball Preseason Coaches’ Poll released on Sunday.
The Bruins, who enter the season ranked sixth in the NAIA Preseason Top 25, is coming off a  52-17 record (21-3 MCAC) last season, where they won both the MCAC regular season and postseason tournament titles.
York College, which posted a 33-24 overall record (14-9 MCAC) last year, was picked third. Peru State was picked 5th out of seven teams in the conference.
