Seniors Jade Meads and Jonni Mildenberger combined for 45 points and 19 rebounds as Nebraska-Kearney held off Chadron State, 77-70.
UNK improves to 10-8 (5-5 RMAC) while the Eagles, led by former Loper assistant Tim Connealy, fall to the .500 mark (9-9, 4-6 RMAC).
Alyssa Lyman (14 points) helped Chadron grab a 21-19 lead midway through the first half but UNK would lead 44-34 at the break.
Despite the Eagles shooting 54 percent over the first 20 minutes, the Lopers had a double digit lead thanks to 11 second chance points.
The UNK advantage would continue to grow, getting as big as 19 points, and then the Lopers held a seemingly comfortable 16-point cushion, 65-49, with 8:31 left to play.
