Sophomore Mitch Albers scored a career-high 30 points and junior Tyler Albers scored a season-high 20 Saturday to lead the University of Nebraska at Omaha to a 93-88 victory before 657 at Sapp Fieldhouse.
Southwest Minnesota State outscored Wayne State 31-17 in the second half to rally for a 49-41 defensive-minded Northern Sun Conference men’s basketball win over the Wildcats in Marshall, Minnesota Saturday night.
Freshman Dale Minschwaner scored 23 points and hauled in eight rebounds to help lead the Colorado School of Mines men’s basketball team to a 63-54 win over Chadron State on Saturday.
The Colorado Christian men’s basketball team used a strong second half performance to earn it’s first-ever win at Nebraska-Kearney, 75-70, Saturday night at the Health & Sports Center.
After losing 18 in a row to the Lopers, the Cougars (11-6, 6-3 RMAC) have now beaten UNK two times in a row. And before tonight, Christian was 0-15 at the Health & Sports Center.
