Hastings gets softball championships for next two years

The Nebraska State Activities Association board voted last week and awarded the city of Hastings the state championships for girls softball.
Hastings will host the championships for 2009 and 2010 after having a successful run in ’07 and ’08.  The host site will continue to be the Bill Smith Softball Complex.
Prior to 2007, the softball championships were held in Omaha.
