Huskers lose at Iowa State

Nebraska shot just 34 percent and never recovered from a 13 point half time deficit losing to the Iowa State Cyclones 65-53 in Ames, Iowa on Wednesday.
Ade Dagunduro had another strong game leading the Huskers with 13 points.  Just like Missouri did against NU on Saturday, the Huskers battled back from a slow start to tie the game at 45 with just over six  minutes to play, but could never get over the hump as the Clones pulled away in the final two minutes.
Cookie Miller added 11 points and Steve Harley had 10 points as the Huskers fell to 11-4 on the season and 1-1 in Big 12 Conference play.
Nebraska will host K-State on Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Devaney Center. At the game, the newest members of the Nebraska Basketball Hall of Fame, Danny Nee and Erick Strickland will be introduced at halftime, along with special award winners Kent Pavelka and Rex Ekwall.
