Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning issued his opinion on a 2006 law that is taking many city officials around the state by surprise. They believed a 2006 law allowing people to carry a concealed weapon still allowed cities to pass rules blocking people from doing so. Bruning says Cities can’t get around the law and all citizens in the state are allowed to carry concealed guns. 13 cities in the state have ordinances against carrying concealed weapons.
