The Husker Home Run Club is sponsoring a couple of preseason previews. in Omaha on the 17th, in Lincoln on the 24th. Both events free to the public.
The Omaha event will take place at the Holiday Inn (72nd and Grover) and runs from 9 to 11 a.m. Fans at the event will be able to see the 2008 highlight tape, meet members of the 2009 Husker squad, participate in an autograph session and listen to comments from the Husker coaching staff. Juice, coffee, bagels and donuts will also be provided.
The Lincoln preview will take place at the Hawks Championship Center, and fans will be able to watch the Huskers go through a workout and drills, listen to comments from the Husker coaching staff and participate in an autograph session. The workout and drills portion will take place from 9 until 11 a.m. with the autographs and light refreshments being served afterwards. It is a good opportunity to see the Huskers prior to the 2009 campaign.
