The Huskers put together another solid performance in their final practice for the Gator Bowl yesterday. It was helmets and pads. They’ll have a walk through today at the Stadium before the Gator Bowl tomorrow against Clemson.
Pelini has been impressed with the players focus while down in Florida, which sometimes around a bowl game can be difficult.
Carl, thinks the staff came up with a good approach for keeping the players focused and they seem to have responded.
Pelini said the Clemson offense will present significant challenges for the Blackshirt defense. Pelini said running backs James Davis and C.J. Spiller each have big-play potential and quarterback Cullen Harper operates the Tiger offense with efficiency.
Defensive end Zach Potter compares Clemson’s style of offense to that of Oklahoma just not as athletic. On down the line from their coach Dabo Swinney to their quarterback Harper, they all say the same thing about the Huskers, they’re big.
