Head coach Bo and defensive coordinator Carl Pelini were back storming up and down the sidelines at the Husker’s practice in Jacksonville as it nothing had happened. On the injury front, senior I-back Marlon Lucky is still bothered by his turf toe injury. That’s just one of those nagging injuries that is just going to take time to heal, there’s no rehab or anything else than can be done. Lucky will play, but he admits he is not at 100%.
Lucky started every game but the last one against Colorado and he finished the regular with 517 yards and tied for the team lead with seven rushing touchdowns. He also grabbed 22 passes with one score, but in the last three games, he has just 62 yards on 22 carries since the injury occurred in early November.
