Officer cleared following tasing

A grand jury has cleared a Lincoln police officer of any wrongdoing in the September death of a man the officer shocked with a Taser.  Officer Jonathan Kossow used his battery powered stun gun against 23 year old Gabriel Bitterman on Sept. 19. It’s all because Bitterman refused to drop a knife he was using to threaten his girlfriend.  An autopsy determined Bitterman died from asphyxiation.
