Nebraska coach Doc Sadler could probably attribute Saturday’s slow start to what I call, PFS…Post-Finals Syndrome. Steve Harley and Cookie Miller sparked a 2nd half rally for a 75-48 win.
The Huskers were down 34-29 at the half, but responded out of the break outscoring IPFW (Indiana/Purdue, Fort Wayne) 19-5. Harley scored a career-high 21 points and Miller played great defense and dished the ball on offense to lead the way.
NU had 11 fouls, 10 turnovers and only it 25% at the free throw line.
