UNO, Wayne St, Chadron crack Top 25 D-II final poll

The NCAA Division II final football poll was released yesterday.  Three Nebraska schools are in the top 25.
Nebraska Omaha finishes 22nd after their first year in their new MIAA conference.  Wayne State, turned around their program to finish 19th.  Chadron State comes in 9th following their 11-2 year.
Chadron beat Wayne in the first round of the D-II playoffs, then lost to eventual national champion Minnesota-Duluth.
By the way Eagles coach Bill O’Boyle is in last place in fan voting for Coach of the Year for Division II.  You have five days left.  Go to coachoftheyear.com and vote for coach O’Boyle.
Last year O’Boyle was near the bottom of fan voting, but got a big push at the end to win last year.  Let’s see if we can push him to the top again.
