Sellers wins Nebraska football player of the year.

Tyrone Sellers, a 6’4 215 pound defensive end from McCook was named Gatorade/ESPN Rise Magazine’s Nebraska football player of the year.
Sellers, who has committed to KU, had 40 tackles, including 14 for loss, along with 11 quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles.
He led the Bison (11-1) to the Class B state semifinals.  Sellers is now a finalist for the Gatorade national football player of the year to be announced later this month.
