Nebraska is in the top five when it comes to states with low unemployment rates. Terri Johnston is with the Nebraska Department of Labor.
“We’re still experiencing growth in some of our sectors in the number of jobs, for example in education adn health services we had an increase of 3500 jobs last month.”
Johnston says our unemployment rate remains steady at three-point-six percent, but she feels we could see an increase in that number in 2009. If you need to file for unemployment, Johnston says the best way to do it is online.
