Chadron rattled but recovering from wreck.

The driver of the 2003 Excursion which wrecked while transporting Chadron State College wrestlers to the airport in Denver has been cited by the Colorado State Patrol.
According to the patrol, Assistant Coach Mark Pfeifer was cited for careless driving causing injury, a misdemeanor.
A spokesperson for the patrol said a factor in the accident was traveling too fast for conditions.  A Colorado hospital spokesman says the condition of one of the wrestlers injured has improved.
Gary Kinsey with the Medical Center of the Rockies, said Thursday afternoon that Max Baker had been listed in good condition.
Kinsey says two others – J.J. Pursley, and Willy Jones – remain in serious condition.
The three were in a school van headed to the Denver airport on their way to a meet in Las Vegas when Pfeifer lost control. The van ran off Interstate 25 near the Wyoming border Wednesday night.
Also injured were Ty Brown of Crawford, Brett Hunter of Rushville and Pfeifer.  A student assistant coach was treated at the scene.
