Some have called for the Legislative and Executive branches of state government to better communicate on the issue of troubled youth. Incoming Lincoln State Senator Kathy Campbell says lawmakers really have no choice.
“From all indication Mr. Landry will be attnding the task force meetings that have been set up and I expect that the department will be of great help in providing all types of informations.”
Campbell also says work must be done on youth mental illness programs and for providing immediate assistance to families and children in crisis.
