Another lawsuit filed to keep the fair in Lincoln

Another lawsuit has been filed to stop the Nebraska State Fair from moving from Lincoln to Grand Island.  Three men filed the suit on Wednesday. Roger Yant, Brian Von Seggern and Jerry Christensen. It names the city of Grand Island, the University of Nebraska and the State Fair Board. Last week, a Lancaster County judge tossed out an earlier suit that was filed by Yant and the others. The judge said the suit couldn’t move forward because it was filed against Governor Dave Heineman. The judge says Heineman is not directly responsible for moving the fair.
