After a scorless tie in regulation and a lightning delay of just over an hour, Creighton lost to Missouri State on penalty kicks 4-2. Their season is finished at 12-6-1. It’s the first time in 13 years Creighton has not advanced to the semifinals in tournament play.
The Huskers lost in their Big 12 tournament opener to 16th ranked Colorado 1-0. The Huskers finish the season 10-9-1 and now wait to see if they make an at-large big for the NCAA tournament. The field will be announced on Monday.
