A large number of voters turned out for Democratic U-S Senate Candidate Scott Kleeb, but in the end Republican Mike Johanns is the man that will replace Chuck Hagel in the U-S Senate. Kleeb spoke to his supporters after the results came in.
“I’ve said it throughout this campaign that Washington won’t change Nebraska, but Nebraska sure can change Washington.”
Kleeb reminded supporters that one of the groups he fought for, was the group of workers in Dewitt that lost their jobs at the Vise grips plant.
