Odell, Threatt RMAC players of the week

Chadron State College’s Shaine Odell and Maurice Threatts have each been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Players of the Week in the Eagles’ 27-16 win over Mesa State on Saturday. Odell is the Defensive Player of the Week, while Threatts is the Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Odell, a senior defensive end intercepted a Mesa State pass at the CSC 13-yard line to stop a potential scoring drive. He also added seven tackles, caused a fumble, and recorded 1.5 sacks.
The freshman Threatts, scored his second special teams touchdown of the season by returning a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown to give the Eagles the lead for good.
The Eagles clinched their third straight Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference title.
