62-28…what else can you say

This just has to be one of those games you chalk up as a bad one and you move on.  62-28 the final score.  I was out doing stuff with the family and didn’t get a chance to turn the TV on until, I would say it was maybe 7:25, when I saw it was 28-0 at that point and they hadn’t even played seven minutes, I couldn’t believe.  Head coach Bo Pelini has seen these games before.
I will give credit to head coach Bo Pelini, they showed him on the sidelines giving earfuls to his coaching staff, anyone who had a head set.  I showed him storming up and down the field, but I really think he’s doing a good job of telling to players to get this out of the mind and get focused on Kansas.
Again, not much to say about this game, other than it got away in a hurry.  Now Pelini did say that he expects his team to bounce back from this and with three weeks to go, it will be interesting to see how they come back.  It’s going to be a tough go next week against KU, two winnable games after that with K-State and Colorado, so still a very good shot at finishing with a winning season at 7-5 and a .500 record in the Big 12.  Next week, it’s the Jayhawks who at 6-3, 3-2 in the Big 12 and still in contention for a Big 12 north title.   The game has already been announced as a 1:30 kickoff shown on pay per view.
