A couple of Huskers are in good shape at the PBA men and women bowlers tournament at Thunder Alley in Elkhorn.
After the first day of qualifying on the women’s side, former Husker Shannon Pluhowsky leads the women’s field moving up from third with a 14-game total of 3,032.
Ex-Husker Mike Machuga finished the first block in the morning at the top. He threw a 300 game. After the second block last night, Machuaga still sits in third.
The top 32 men and 10 women advanced to today’s match play, with the finals airing on ESPN on Sunday.
