On yesterday’s Big Red Report, I featured I-back Marlon Lucky. Just a quick update on him, Bo Pelini says he will be ready to go this Saturday at Oklahoma. He tweaked his ankle a bit against Baylor, but is having no issues as expected.
Team speed. The Sooner have it and they have a lot of it, especially on defense. Head coach Bo Pelini making some adjustments this week by hoping to create some matchup problems for the Sooners, he’ll line up redshirt freshmen Marcus Mendoza, listed an I-back as a wideout.
A recurring theme that I’m starting to hear from the coaches is that the Husker players are starting to get more into a rhythm, more consistency, just getting a better handle and grasp of what they need to do, particularly on offense, here’s coordinator Shawn Watson
Pelini has echoed those thoughts as well and of all weeks when this team needs to get it, they certainly picked the right week.
