The Nebraska football team practiced in full pads for two hours today inside Memorial Stadium as the Huskers continue preparation for this Saturday’s match up against Iowa State. Head coach Bo Pelini was impressed with the way his team has responded to last week’s overtime loss to Texas Tech.
During the Texas Tech game, the Huskers were down two of their top linebackers in Cody Glenn and Philip Dillard. Head coach Bo Pelini said that he expects both players to play and likes the way they are progressing through practice.
Pelini is also happy with the veteran leadership of this team in terms of the hard work they’re putting in the example it sets.
The Huskers and Cyclones will meet this Saturday in Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa. Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m. CT and is being carried nationally on the Versus Network.
