Dillard, Glenn return to practice

The Nebraska football team began preparations for Saturday’s 11:30 a.m. matchup at Iowa State with a two-and-a-half hour workout in shorts, shoulder pads and helmets Monday afternoon inside Memorial Stadium.

The Huskers continued to solidify their linebacker corps for Saturday against the Cyclones, as Cody Glenn and Phillip Dillard, who were both limited in the Texas Tech game by injuries, returned to the practice field.

In their absence, true freshman walk-on Matt Holt stepped up, making eight tackles to rank second on the Nebraska defense against the Red Raiders.
