I mentioned it this morning on one of my reports. I’m sure it will be brought up. The last time the Huskers were in Lubbock, the Red Raiders won 70-10. Senior quarterback Joe Ganz was a freshemen then.
So, here we are the 10th of October and the Huskers are on the road for the first time away from Memorial Stadium. No concerns for head coach Bo Pelini.
Pelini is actually looking forward to coaching in his first Big 12 road game and he told his players they too should look forward to this game.
I’m not sure what the results will be this week, but last season after a loss like the one they suffered against Missouri, the team would have rolled up into a ball, but Pelini was impressed with the way his team responded this week.
