Huskers have a lot of respect for MU's Daniel

The Huskers are trying to learn how to win again under head coach Bo Pelini while the Tigers come in as one of the top teams in the country.
It all starts with their spread offense, but more importantly their quarterback Chase Daniel.  His coach Gary Pinkel says it’s like having another coach on the field, Pinkel has coached six quarterbacks who have played in the NFL and Pinkel calls Daniel the smartest.  Husker secondary coach Marvin Sanders likens Daniel to a basketball position.
Daniel is far from a basketball player in terms of his physique and he real defies logic in terms of being a quarterback, as he stands maybe 5’10.  head coach Bo Pelini says Missouri makes up for his lack of size.
You know what, with any quarterback though, you put pressure on him and he’s going to struggle and he’s not the type of quarterback who is going to take off running so Pelini’s defense won’t have to worry about that .  Listen to more about Daniel on today’s Big Red Report

The Huskers have to find a way to put pressure on him…only one team has been able to do that recently, the Oklahoma Sooners who beat Daniel twice.
