Husker volleyball prepares for tough schedule

The Nebraska volleyball team is getting ready for a stretch of four matches in the next eight days.  Head coach John Cook looked to turn up the heat in practice and prepare this team for the challenges a post-season schedule would present.
The Huskers are at Texas Tech Wednesday night, then come home against Colorado on Saturday, before heading to Qwest Center in Omaha to take on Creighton, where Cook enjoys playing because he feels it’s great for volleyball exposure in the state.  They’ll wrap up their tough schedule at home the following Wednesday against Oklahoma.
While none of these teams figure to give NU much of a challenge, the key for Cook will be to see how his players react to short turnaround, when the team won’t have much time to plan for an opponent very similar to the way the post-season goes.
