The Group Fair Vote Nebraska is filing a lawsuit against Governor Dave Heineman and the Attorney General, Jon Bruning in an attempt to keep the State Fair in Lincoln. Heineman was asked about the lawsuit.
“I respect their right to do that, But I support moving the State Fair to Grand Island, that opens up research park for innovation park, that’s good for Lincoln and it’s good for creating high paying jobs in the state.”
The attorney filing the suit says part of the lawsuit mentions the vote of Nebraskans to allow lottery money to fund fair operations.
