NU CBs important against a scrambling quarterback

After practice on Wednesday, Husker head coach Bo Pelini said his team was prepared for Virginia Tech, but at least it’s only midweek.  He liked the effort, but said there were too many mental mistakes.
Secondary coach Marvin Sanders said the mental mistakes will have be at a minimum with the secondary and cornerbacks, especially this week against Tyrod Taylor, a scrambling quarterbac.
On today’s Big Red Report, Sanders talks about it’s important the secondary doesn’t become so consumed with waiting for Taylor to run that they forget their assignments and give up big plays.
As you’ll hear Sanders, when a defensive lineman or linebacker make a mistake, not many fans will catch it, but when it happens to a DB and they get burned for big yards, then you have 80,000 plus fans who notice.
