Nebraska senior Jordan Larson was named Big 12 offensive volleyball player of the week Monday, while Husker sophomore Sydney Anderson was selected as the rookie of the week.
Larson earned the league’s offensive honor for the first time in 2008 after averaging 5.00 kills on .319 hitting, over two and a half digs last week against Kansas State and Texas.
Anderson picked up the rookie award for the third time in four weeks after tallying 12.39 assists per set while averaging 2.50 digs.
The Huskers remain in 2nd in the Top 25 poll behind number Penn State. Texas, still third. NU takes on KU tomorrow
