College volleyball round up

College volleyball from last night.  NAIA, #8 Bellevue opened conference play by sweeping Peru State 14, 19, and 15.  Rachel Muller, 15 kills and a .537 hitting percentage with no errors to lead the Bruins. 
D-II, Chelsie Carson and Jeri Walkowiak, a couple of Nebraska natives registered 14 kills apiece as Nebraska Kearney beat South Dakota 26-24, 25-10, 28-26.  The Lopers have an 11 match winning streak at home for the Lopers and congratulations to head coach Rick Squiers for his 300th victory at UNK.
Wayne State lost to 9th ranked Southwest Minnesota State and Chadron State was swept by Colorado Mines.  Nebraska-Omaha opens MIAA play tonight at home against Missouri Southern.  UNO was picked sixth in their new conference.  The top five teams picked above them all ranked 17th or higher in the national rankings.
The #2 Cornhuskers open up Big 12 play on the road at Kansas State.
