Husker volleyball team remains second in polls

The Husker volleyball team remains 2nd in the country with their 6-0 record.  Penn State still at number one getting all 60 first place votes. 
The Huskers went 3-0 this weekend with wins over Northeastern, 14th ranked Cal-Poly, and Tulane.
Also, Nebraska setter Sydney Anderson collected her second Big 12 honor in as many weeks, as she was chosen as the Big 12’s Newcomer of the Week on Monday. Anderson averaged 11.67 assists, 2.11 digs and 0.78 kills on .462 hitting. 
 
Anderson leads the Big 12 in both assists (11.32) and service aces (0.58), helping Nebraska to a 6-0 start that includes wins over three ranked teams.
The Huskers return to action this weekend, as they host the Ameritas Players Challenge. Second-ranked Nebraska will play LSU in the evening’s second match, slated for 6 p.m., while New Mexico and St. John’s will play in the 3:30 p.m. match.
